Hello friends! I'm so sorry if I have not been blogging for a while (yikes! it's more than a month already!). The last couple of weeks have been really really hectic - finished some projects, travelling (yes! i've finally been able to tick off one of my to-dos this year), and lots and lots of work! Whew!

I promise to post pictures of our recent (bitin - very very short) vacation in Macau and Hongkong. =D

Finally! I am able to upload this. =) This is the layout that won me first place in the Advance Category during Scrapfest 5. Thank you so much Scrappinmoms! I won a brand new Canon Selphy! Yay!

A bit of history of this shot. Abby was playing in the front yard and started picking pebbles. She was so happy just doing that! lol! So glad I had my camera with me that time.

I must admit, I was really intimidated when the names belonging to the Advance Category were called. They are all very good scrappers I felt like a newbie! And when the Moms announced the 'secret ingredient', boy! I was really really appehensive. I've never worked with a corrugated board before in my layouts. It was one of the most nerve-wracking one and a half hour of my life. I thought I would never finish on time. It's a good thing I got the Bazzill cardstock I ordered from Scrapbookshawaii that day. I think the scallop edge complimented the layout. That's where I started then the ideas just kept flooding in. When the time was up, I presented this to the judges: (sorry, the image is a bit crooked. I think it still need a bit of tweaking in Photoshop)
