For this week, we were asked  to a layout of our everyday moments. We need to use at least 8 photos. There's a twist though, we also need to have white space or negative space. I freaked out of course (lol!) I have never used more than 4 photos in a layout before. I finished mine last weekend but didn't submit it immediately.

I was thinking of making another one since I've a lot of "everyday moments" in my hard drive that are begging to be scrapped. I've 2 320GB external HD, one is already full. I know, I know...I need to burn those in a permanent home already(which is what I'm doing right now while updating this blog =D ) otherwise if something happens to that HD...well, you get the picture...

Anyway, let's get back to the original topic. Here's my layout:

I always wanted to get one of those Mini Misters from Ranger but I feel they are a bit expensive for me - the 3pc set costs more than $4. After scouring the shops and malls, I found these:

Price: P35 or roughly $0.70. How cool is that?!

Taken with the cap of my 50mm lens for comparison. I've already filled them up with Radiant Rain so I can test if I can use it with the mists. And guess what? The spray came out fine without any of those large droplets you get when you use the original Radiant rain bottle. I have yet to test this on Glimmer mist. I only bought 2 mini-misters so I think I need to go back and buy a couple more. =D

Just want to let you know I'm doing a bit (major really! getting confused with all the HTML scripts lol) of fixin' up - didn't like the way my posts are getting published - the text keeps getting aligned with the images. It's a bit hard for the eyes don't you think?

This week's challenge is "Going Green"

I've been keeping these.

I never seem to be able to get rid of the packaging materials lol!. Somehow, in my mind, I always thought that something useful will come out from those trash. So when Week 2 challenge went up, I immediately knew what I needed to do - imagine me with light bulb turning on...haha

So here's what I made:
And then used it here: True Friends

For more details on materials and techniques I used, please go to the Scrappin' Moms Gallery. Also, please check out the other awesome entries here.

Just read about this from Elizabeth Kartchner's blog and I thought it would be fun to join. It's already past 10am(7/8/2009) here in the Philippines and I'm scrambling to take the shot fast(composition and exposure went out the window lol!).

Here's my shot - me watching The Today Show.

P.S.
I had to take a couple of shots before I was able to take a "clear" shot of the clock - obviously I overshot by a couple of seconds. I'll try to take another shot again at 10pm this evening. I had fun doing this. Thanks for the challenge, Elizabeth. =)

The first time I used Glimmer Mist, I am hooked! I may only have a few bottles(honestly, it's already an addiction lol!) but I use them whenever I can - I used it on my paper-pieced tree in  latest layout (Always a Drama Queen) below. Just recently, Tattered Angels announced that the Glimmer Mist bottles are gettin' a new look:

I love the new labels!!! I am confident that Glimmer Mist is the same great product with a Fabulous NEW Look! I can hardly wait to get my hands on the new colors. =)
