Please check out my design team layouts at Scrapbukan. This is my first DT ever and I am so grateful to Sahrie for giving me this opportunity.

Did you ever experience a time when you were stumped when selecting papers for your LOs? How about selecting the right embellishments? Well I have! I'm so glad I recently read on Scrapbook Update about this nifty tool from Big Huge Labs. Introducing the Palette Generator. Not only is this tool free, it's also easy to use. Upload the photo from your computer or if you have a Flickr library, you can just link it up. Select the photo and click "create" to see the palette.

Here's a sample. Try it now! =D

Pardon the tiny image, this is just a low res screen capture

Sept. 26, Friday
8am - Take a quick peek at Scrappin' Moms blog to see if the results are in. Nothing yet.
12nn - I didn't get the chance to check the blog. Too busy. Aaargh!
7pm - Still at the office. Overtime (OT-Y meaning no pay haha). Internet is not available. =(
Around 8pm? - Chatting with Diane regarding the results! The suspense is too much!
11pm - Finally done with my work. I can go home. Quick peek. Nothing still.
Almost 12mn - Asked my sister to take a look at the blog since she still online. Oh-oh! I'm reading the title "Meet the TOP 10 Idol Finalist". Scrolling slowly...Cookie...Alby...Gaye...Hey that's ME!!!! I had to do a double take. Slowly the info started to sink in. My sister was shrieking with excitement. OMG! What have I gotten myself into??!!! Will I survive the 3-hour challenge during the finals? Stay tuned....

The challenge for this week is the toughest so far. There's so many restrictions I thought of giving up. But I thought I've already gone this far so why give up? Half way through finishing the LO though I lost my mojo. Oh! oh! By Wednesday, I tried to finished it though I'm a bit disappointed coz I felt I didn't achieved the design I want. For this challenge we need to create an assymetrical balanced layout and use at least 1 supersize photo, at least 48 sq. in. I love large photos! Here's my take.

Direction and Movement...Is there such a thing in scrapbooking? I felt dumbfounded when I read the challenge for this week. I had no idea that you can place the elements of your layout in a way that you provide a sequence for the eye to follow. When I create my layouts I just place the photos and the embellishments in any way I like. LOL!

In the end, I settled for the 'Z movement' which I felt was the easiest to make. Click here to see my take.
